God has given us new life through Christ and has called us into the fellowship of His Church. Responding in love and gratitude for this, we, the members of North Burlington Baptist Church, joyfully enter this covenant together in the presence of the Lord.

We will seek a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ through regular personal prayer, Bible study and through faithful worship together.

We will regularly share in the Lord's Supper to remind us of His death, resurrection and second coming.

We will strive to honour Christ by obeying His commands in all aspects of life, at home, at school, at work, and in our recreation; living with integrity, keeping our word, respecting others, helping the powerless, and acting as good stewards of all that God has entrusted to us.

We will discover and use the gifts the Holy Spirit has given to each of us, for the strengthening of His Church.

We will obey our Lord's command to love one another as He has loved us, by accepting, forgiving, encouraging one another, upholding one another in prayer and aiding each other in sickness and distress.

We will give freely and joyfully of our money and other resources to support God's work in our local church, our denomination and mission outreach at home and abroad.

We will be open and prepared for all opportunities to share Christ in a personal way with those near us and to encourage the spreading of the Gospel beyond our community.

Finally, we pledge that, should we move from this community, we will as soon as possible unite with another church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's Word.
