Our purpose is to joyfully worship the living God who has found us in Jesus Christ by: · Witnessing clearly and faithfully so that others may come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. · Supporting and strengthening each other in an atmosphere of faith and love. · Ministering the love of God in local and world missions. · Providing training so every member will continue to grow in the knowledge of Christ and be equipped for His service. |

A motto simply describes the chief attributes of an organization and what it is about. Our motto at NBBC is simply “People make this church.” The Bible never refers to the church as a building. It is always a reference to God’s people gathered together. Our greatest strength and resource is people, especially the person of Jesus Christ. As we join together in God’s purposes there is no limit to what God might do through us for His glory. |

As we look out into the future of NBBC we see … · A church that is made up of multiple congregations that are intimately linked although locationally separate. · People in small group gatherings, called Growth Groups, meeting for intentional discipleship through prayer, Bible study, service and evangelism projects, worship, fellowship and caring. · Quarterly celebrations of all the congregations coming together to glorify God in all that He is doing. · Whole communities being impacted positively for the Gospel as NBBC congregations take on a local flavour that speaks to the needs of their neighbours. |

Our mission is a statement of what we believe God has called us to do as His Kingdom representatives in this place. Although the Bible is our ultimate source for telling us why we’re here, our purpose statement helps us strategize the best way we can use the resources God has given us.
